Anatoly Wasserman: is it necessary to exclude from the economic section people affected by a malignant liberalism

Published: March 2nd, 2015

Russia has all the resources necessary for economic prosperity. This was stated by the journalist, political consultant Anatoly Wasserman on the eve of the Moscow economic forum, which will take place on 25-26 March this year.

"In Russia there are a large number of people can prosper by their own efforts. In addition, we have many partners and consumers of our products, as well as enormous financial resources that enable us to run any desired mechanism in the economy. In addition, correct economic theories, which has already proven their effectiveness, are used in Russia," - Anatoly Wasserman noted.

According to him, under such conditions, the only thing that is really required is to find a few thousands people, able to work in the governmental apparatus. "The main thing is that they are not infected by malignant varieties of liberalism. I mean malignant because there are quite reasonable, and sometimes even useful varieties of this concept as well," - the political consultant stressed.

Anatoly Wasserman stated that in such circumstances he looks at Russia's future with great optimism. "We have always had people necessary to move forward, when it became obvious that we need them", he added.

Meanwhile, Anatoly Wasserman expressed regret that the people "affected by a malignant liberalism" will not participate in MEF. "As long as we do not change the personnel of the economic unit, there will not be any change for the better, in my opinion. However, I hope very much that such people are not tied to their workplaces tightly. They need to be moved to the places where their actions will not be so devastating," - the political consultant noted.

Anatoly Wasserman also shared his view on the relationship of Russia and Ukraine. "There cannot be a long quarrel between a left hand and a right hand or between a heart and a lung. Ukraine is an inseparable part of Russia, as, for example, Siberia or Kuban’. But reconciliation with those who benefit from the separation of Ukraine from the rest of Russia, is impossible, because these people use other's misfortune for their own enrichment. I have no doubt that the Russians in Ukraine sooner or later will recall who they are, but before this happens, the war will continue. This happens because too many people hope to get rich on this," - Anatoly Wasserman explained.

The writer reminded that, according to polls, the majority of Ukrainian citizens are Russian in language and culture. "Anyone trying to prove that they do not belong to the Russian people, is a separatist, i.e. a person seeking separation of a united nation. Moreover, as it is proved by the whole history of Ukraine, he is a criminal separatist. Separation of any part of our people from Russia is rather dangerous for those who are separated, than for those from whom the people are separated. That is why I struggle by all available means against the idea of state independence of Ukraine from the moment of its proclamation. I hope very much that before I die it will be reunited with the rest of Russia and will adequately punish those who once caused a temporary separation", - Anatoly Wasserman concluded.
