There is a long way to grow for Russia, and nothing can stop us if we properly use the lessons of history - said Konstantin Babkin, co-chair of MEF, speaking at a II panel discussion «Russian Economy: positive scenario." As the leader of the Political Party "The party of work" such a scenario for the Russian economy is not only necessary, but actually possible.

He stressed that the world has doubled production in 25 years, at the same time, it has reduced in Russia. That is to say, a quarter of a century, the country has not only reduced the pace of production, but also missed growth. Co-chairman of MEF cited the experience of China, where the state for the development of production is investing in infrastructure, which is progressing. Restrictions on political all solved and are not an obstacle to the growth in volumes of industry.

Konstantin Babkin cited the results of recent studies show that 65% of people want change and the core of these changes see the new industrialization. Question of the discussion, according to co-chair of the MEF, is how to interpret the wishes of the people, how to ensure the development of uncultivated field. For this purpose "Charter 2016" had been drawn up, which requires a change of not justified economic policy, which dominates in Russia for a quarter of a century, since 1991 and the transition to a new economic development policy based on internal capabilities and potential of Russia.
