Iosif Diskin, chairman of the Public Chamber Commission on harmonization of interethnic and interfaith relations talked on the need to change the model of economic growth. The speaker said without new model Russia's sovereignty could be threatened as a result, Russia will lose opportunity to enter the high-margin, high-tech markets. Diskin drew attention to the problem of innovative development in Russia, which is ignored economic blocs. Such areas as robotics, biomedical and additive technologies are a priority today. If Russia refuses from innovation, it will miss part of the new wave of technology.
