March 24 at the fourth Moscow Economic Forum a master class presented by Oleg Sirota - an entrepreneur who in his 27 years "from scratch" opened a cheese factory. He spoke in detail about the features of conducting farm business in Russia in the conditions of existing sanctions.

The entrepreneur began by a detailed report on the establishment and operation of cheese factory. The reason for its opening, according to Sirota, has been the introduction by Russia of sanctions for dairy products from the EU, the US and certain other countries. This allowed to remove for a time competition from the market, which was, according to the farmer's opinion, a good starting point to start your own business project.

The Moscow region was chosen for the location of the cheese factory, since there had been no problem with product marketing in the region, the farmer said. Also, local authorities have implemented a support program for dairy farming, and provided the entrepreneur with an area of 46 hectares for the cowshed and the cheese factory.

Oleg Sirota mentioned and the problems encountered by novice farmer. The cheesemaking had to be trained in Germany, France and Switzerland because the relevant experience was absent in Russia. Also, there were difficulties in finding the necessary equipment, in the end, it was purchased in different regions of Russia much cheaper than their foreign counterparts, - the businessman said. Investments in the dairy amounted to 21.5 million rubles, of which: 3.5 million - for the construction of buildings, 4.5 million - for equipment, 4.5 million - in the communications, water, electricity.

According to Sirota, he currently produce 1,200 kg of cheese and four thousand jars of yogurt per month. The plans are to go to the production of 9 tons of cheese a month after the arrangement of the barn. That barn, as recognized by the farmer was the most important and problematic element of the business, as to find high-quality milk in Russia is extremely difficult, and to get a 100% guarantee of compliance with health standards and quality of milk, it is necessary to have its own production of milk at the cheesefactory. "The situation is catastrophic. We have awfull hygiene in most households, the robots do not save. Whether there is a robot nor there is not, we will have all 33 of pleasure in milk", - explains the businessman. In particular, the high cost of milk explaines quite substantial cost of the finished cheese - at least 650-800 rubles per kilogram.

To learn how to optimize the production processes and obtain quality milk with minimal cost, told an expert on the development of technological projects pastoral enterprises Nikolay Perov. He noted that the productivity is not so much important as profit. The developed technology allows the specialist to design a simple barn costing up to 20 thousand rubles per place, according to Perov - it is an unprecedented low cost. As the technological solutions offered cool content and dry manure.

After building your own barn, the cost of milk should be about 18 rubles per liter, against 35 rubles per liter of purchased milk, stressed Perov. There is also the problem of feeding the cows for the production of high-end product requires a suitable quality hay and forage.

Where in Russia the farm products can be implemented, showed with the example the director to developing a network of Petrovsky farmer's markets Andrey Ulyanov. "This is the usual old Russian marketplace, where people bring their produce for sale. The only thing is that we make life easier for small producer of quality products ", - explains the businessman. At the same time, all manufacturers are carefully selected, select only high-quality products that meet all sanitary standards.

Deputy director of the Russian association of manufacturers of agricultural machinery "Rosagromash" Denis Maksimkin told about the process of import substitution in agricultural engineering. In 2015, the share of domestic technology on the market increased by 12% and accounted for 40% of the total market, the most significant growth occurred in the production of four-wheel drive tractors. According to estimates "Rosagromash", in 2016 the increase in production volumes will be 15%. Significant growth was achieved in many ways thanks to the program of grants. Its essence lies in the fact that the manufacturer offers a discount for agricultural machinery, and the size of the adjustment shall be compensated from the federal budget to the manufacturer, said Maksimkin.

Deputy Director of "Rosagromash" also presented the main novelties of 2015, among them - Combine Harvester 7th grade performance RSM-161, which is superior to all the world's leading counterparts on indicators such as productivity, grinding grain, grain quality data collection and other technical characteristics. "We supply equipment not only in CIS countries but also in countries with a highly developed agricultural machinery: USA, Canada, France and Germany", - said Maksimkin.

Panelists concluded that, in general sanctions had a positive impact on the development of the farm business in Russia. But the main problem for the production of cheese is the poor quality milk, so the main task, without which further development of the business is impossible is the construction of the barn, after which the cheese factory can pay off in one year, - summed Oleg Sirota.
