Russian pensioners and state employees in the near future, risk being left without a livelihood. Objective economic indicators show a sharp deterioration of the situation in the country. This opinion stated for "URA.Ru" a member of the "Business Russia" expert council, economist Vladislav Zhukovsky.

"The current account surplus fell by 10-15 times in three years: up to 1.5-2 billion dollars in the quarter - at least with the default of 1998. This indicator shows how much the country earns from all economic activities in all currencies. The figures turned out horrible, "- Zhukovsky said.

According to him, the stability of the national economy today raises serious concerns. "The country's economy is becoming less competitive, more primitive, raw. Alas, we are rapidly turning into Zimbabwe ", - he concluded to the agency.

According to an expert the export figures fall significantly, while the import does not change so much. "This tells us that we have nothing to offer the world. We are tremendously dependent on imports - have to continue to purchase machinery, equipment, medicines, fertilizer, clothing, "- Zhukovsky said.

He also noted that in the near future the main blow will have on pensioners and public sector workers.

"This is not a horror story. Revenues in the budget is getting smaller. Already there is a question about how to pay salaries to doctors. I think they should go after teachers in the business. Or hold "- summed up the economist.
