The 5th Moscow Economic Forum began its work in the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov. The speech on the opening ceremony was made by the rector of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Viktor Sadovnichy, co-chairman of the Forum, President of the Industrial Union "New Commonwealth" Konstantin Babkin and co-chairman of the Forum, scientific director of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ruslan Grinberg.

Such forums will be included in the history of Moscow State University and in Russia, said the rector of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Victor Sadovnichy. He stressed that the Moscow Economic Forum is a place where different points of view can be expressed.

"Our expert community is heavily fragmented, everyone has their own truth and does not want to give in. It is important that there is a platform where we can share opinions, "said Ruslan Greenberg, on the opening of the MEF-2017.

According to Konstantin Babkin, the conversation will be held open and competent as always. Participants will discuss what to do to Russia, so that it will remain a worthy place in the world orchestra of states, economies and cultures.
